OTECO
was founded in 1948 as a Houston based distributor of
oilfield specialties. From these beginnings, the company
has grown to a manufacturing and sales organization
supplying the worldwide industry with valves, gauges,
replacement blow-out preventer packing elements,
replacement mud pump parts, and a wide range of other
drilling and production accessories. Providing quality products Worldwide In 1990, Oteco Equipment Company was purchased by another Houston based company and thus became Oteco, Inc. The current owner, National Flame and Forge, Inc. was founded in 1940 and is an outgrowth of a machine and repair shop operated by W.E. Pielop and W.E Pielop Jr. Since its inception, National Flame and Forge has become one of the world's largest manufacturers of mud pump fluid end replacement parts.
After 50 years of industry experience, OTECO is prepared to service the industry for the next 50 years. Occupying 120,000 square feet of manufacturing space located on nineteen acres of land, OTECO strives to provide the highest quality products using the most modern manufacturing technology available.
