Since
our beginning in 1958, KENCO Engineering Company has
been recognized as a key supplier of instrumentation for
various industries, including oil and gas,
petrochemical, power, pulp and paper, water and waste
treatment. KENCO enjoys worldwide recognition and
leadership with its line of Liquid Level Gauges, which
are used as visual measurement devices in various tank
gauging applications. KENCO’s Oil Level Controllers are
the standard device worldwide for measuring and
controlling the amount of lube oil consumed in
stationary engines and compressors. An outgrowth of our
position of leadership in this market are the rest of
our Gas Compression Components.
KENCO Engineering Company’s main facility is located in
Tulsa, Oklahoma. KENCO also has a sales and warehousing
facility in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, which serves its
customer base in the state of Louisiana.
Liquid Level Gauges
K9900 Series Level Gauges
The patented K9900 Series Level Gauge features an
innovative casting design which will simplify the
installation process and eliminate other typical
problems associated with gauge glass. The K9900 Series
incorporates floating misalignment unions, which will
allow the process connection centerlines to vary
+/-1/4". The gauge also has integral offset pattern
valves with ball check shutoffs. 1/2" FNPT vent and
drain connections are inline for routine sight glass
maintenance. The K9900 Series Level Gauge delivers a
safe, low maintenance, cost effective solution to common
sight glass applications.
8800 Series Level Gauges
The 8800 Series Level Gauge features 90° connections for
ease of installation. The Gauge is fitted with inline
1/4" FNPT vent and drain connections. Because the vent
and drain connections are inline, glass cleaning is
easy.
The centerline dimensional tolerance is 1/16". This
assures that the gauge will fit the mounting connection
of the tank.
The sight tube of the 8800 Series Level Gauge is totally
protected. Three sides of the gauge are enclosed with a
metal frame, while the face of the gauge is protected
with a polycarbonate shield. This shield can be custom
calibrated to read tank volume or any other calibration.
Refer to the Product Specifications tab to see the
assortment of standard shield options.
Chemical Gauging Equipment
AccuRate® Pump
The KENCO AccuRate® Pump Setting Gauges utilize
precision scientific glass to provide the most accurate
reading possible for calibrating the flow rate of a
chemical metering pump. They are also used to
periodically monitor the performance and accuracy of a
chemical injection system. Additionally, the AccuRate®
gauge can be used as the primary containment reservoir
of a fluid that will be pumped into a chemical injection
system.
5700 Series Gauge
The 5700 Series Gauge provides a visual means for
checking the contents of a bulk tank and a means for
checking the injection rate of a chemical metering pump.
The gauge is designed to operate in low to medium
pressure applications up to 500 psig.
17000 INJECTION RATE GAUGE
The 17000 Gauge functions as an injection rate gauge and
also serves a bulk tank level gauge. The rate scale can
be calibrated in a variety of options, such as GPM, GPH,
GPD, LPM, LPH, or LPD. The maximum pump rate for a 12"
gauge section is 25 GPD. The sight tube in the 17000 is
1" O.D. glass, which makes it ideal for viscous fluids.
The top and bottom connection for this gauge are 1" MNPT.
7000 SERIES INJECTION RATE GAUGE
The 7000 Injection Rate Gauge is of the same
construction as the 5700 gauge but is provided with a
spring-loaded test valve similar to the valve supplied
on the 779 Drum Gauge. The test valve is used to isolate
the chemical supply tank from the gauge to conduct a one
minute calibration test for the chemical pump.
929 SERIES PUMP SETTING GAUGE
The 929 Series Pump Setting Gauge provides a means for
checking the pumping rate of any chemical pump under
actual pumping conditions in one minute. The gauge
mounts in the pump's suction line between the reservoir
tank and the pump. It provides a visual gauge showing
the liquid level in the reservoir in addition to a rapid
means for setting the pump. The maximum pump rate for
the 929 Series is 10 gallons per day, with each mark on
the scale representing 1 quart per 24 hours. Models are
available with a coupler plug so that the unit can be
easily disconnected for calibrating several chemical
pumps.
Sight Flow Indicators
KSF CAST BODY SIGHT FLOW
INDICATORS
KSF cast body sight flow indicators have a heavy duty
cast construction to handle pressure and temperature
requirements. A glass window on either side provides
product visibility. Mechanical indicators to enhance the
visibility of the media include flappers, rotors, and
drip tubes. The cast body and threaded or flanged
connections meet ANSI standards. Standard materials of
construction are carbon steel, 316 SS, ductile iron, and
bronze. Hastelloy C 276 and alloy 20 can also be
supplied.
FVSF FULL VIEW SIGHT FLOW
INDICATORS
Full View Sight Flow Indicators are used to observe the
flow of liquids in a piping system. 360° visibility
provides convenient viewing from any angle. Designed for
vertical applications. Threaded and flanged connections
are available in a variety of sizes to match the
diameter of the pipe being used. A wide range of end
plate materials are available. Units can be made with
any overall length if additional visibility is required.
ASF ARMORED SIGHT FLOW INDICATORS
Armored Sight Flow Indicators are used to observe the
flow of liquids in a piping system. A rigid steel
housing surrounds the sight tube and provides additional
strength and protection from mechanical impact. Threaded
and flanged connections are available in a variety of
sizes to match the diameter of the pipe being used. A
wide range of housing materials are available. Units can
be made with any overall length if additional visibility
is required. Wetted materials consist of glass and the
connection end plates.
SIGHT WINDOWS
Sight Windows are an effective and economical way of
viewing tank, pressure vessel, piping system interiors.
They are also referred to as sight glasses and are often
replaceable or removable. Fluid clarity, color, level
and flow can be monitored through the window.
Sight Windows can be mounted by bolting, welding or
direct insertion into the end of the tank or pipe.
Welding may require a radius pad that conforms to the
pipe or curved vessels or a flat pad that mounts to a
flat tank wall.
